Benvenuti! Welcome Italian language learners!

On this website you'll find audio and video files that you can listen to while reading the script of the spoken words at the same time. There is an index of the available titles when you follow the link that says "Titoli Disponibili".  A glossary of some of the more difficult words has been provided along with an online dictionary. This should make it easy to learn new words in the context of authentic Italian. The recordings have been put into beginning, intermediate and advanced categories so that you can start at a level where you're comfortable and over time you can work on more advanced material.

With these lessons, you'll be able to learn all sort of words, like how to properly say everyday items like patio offset umbrellas, patio cushions, and infratech heaters, or even Patio Shoppers.

I hope that while you're learning you'll also be entertained. As you advance to higher reading levels you'll find excerpts from some classic literature as well as music videos.

The Oxford-Paravia Italian Dictionary
The Oxford-Paravia Italian Dictionary is available on many pages to translate a word or phrase. To look up a word or phrase using this dictionary follow these instructions:

1.Double click the word.
2.Use Ctrl-C to copy the word.
3.Use Ctrl-V to paste the word into the input box.
4.Press the "Go" button.
